So... Why am I choosing this over Day Z?
I want to know why that store had the game in the first place, most places don't have them until a week before.

It's Cloud(slim chance of Sephiroth), Lightning or nothing, anyone who thinks otherwise or thinks we'll get multiple FF reps building up for disappointment.
Never played an FF I didn't like, except III, never played XI, XIII-2, and XIV though.
I think the title of this article is a tad misleading, it sounds like a very standard company wide procedure, I don't know, just seemed off.
Regardless, still can't wait.
With the main series, it would be hard for me to choose, I love them all, but when it comes to the spin-offs? the Outbreak games are the clear winner.
I would love to see an Outbreak File #3, especially over the series' last trip to Raccoon City...
The fact that Resident Evil isn't number one on the list and it's actually showing me games I've never heard of is pretty surprising and refreshing, it's startling how many of these damn things there are.

I've been really hoping that isn't the case, I have everything those collections have to offer, and most that they don't.

365/2 does not take place after KH2, It takes place before it. Other than that you're right, no need to by such an ass though.
When it comes to story importance though it goes like this:
BBS = DDD > CoM > 365/2 >>>>>>>&a mp;g t; Coded
BBS is probably the best one to come out after KH2 in my opinion.

Hasn't been a game in the series I don't like.
It's been said time and time again, blame the parents not the games. Game ratings are there to prevent kids at the impressionable age, if you want to generalize it, from getting these games.
I spend some of my free time around my local Gamestop, I'm shocked not only at the parents' lack of concern at the age rating but the age of the kids with those parents, couldn't be more than 12 and they're picking up GTAIV and pre-ordering the latest CoD.

The video game blame was inevitable, although I'm surprised how long it took for us to reach it.

I love FF fans, I'm serious, so much passion it's crazy.
As for an FFIX remake? Ill pass. FFIX is my favorite FF and my favorite game ever, an Id like them to leave it as is.
Of course if they ever did remake it, I'd go nuts and get it anyway.
Interested to see what they have to show for "The Fear and Horror of Resident Evil", shame that no matter what it is "fan" backlash will continue anyway.
